Offices and workspaces

Offices: calls that don't drop at the desk.

Modern offices are built to keep heat out, and the same coated glass and deep floor plates keep mobile signal out too. Meeting rooms in the core, cabins along the back and the reception at basement level are the usual dead spots.

Why it happens

Where the signal goes.

01

Coated and tinted glass

Energy-efficient facades can cost more signal than a concrete wall. It’s the most common cause in new commercial buildings.

02

Deep floor plates

Desks far from the facade are far from the signal. Conference rooms in the building core are often the worst.

03

Crowded networks

Many people on one network in one space can mean full bars and failed calls. Signal quality matters as much as strength.

SignalCheck

What we measure here.

Every job starts with a reading, room by room. No guesses.

How a SignalCheck works

  • Every cabin, meeting room, desk zone and the reception, per network
  • Signal quality as well as strength, at busy hours
  • Which teams depend on calls: sales, support, leadership
  • Building constraints: landlord approvals, ceiling access, working hours
The fix

What usually works.

The readings decide. These are the routes we most often recommend for offices. If the SignalCheck says none of them will help, we'll tell you.

Wi-Fi calling on the office network

Often the fastest win, if your Wi-Fi is designed for it. We check that it is.

A SignalFix install for your floor

Through a lawful route agreed with you and the landlord before work starts, with a Bar Certificate per zone.

Building-level coverage

For multi-tenant buildings, operator in-building coverage is often the right answer. We prepare the evidence.

Working in occupied offices

We schedule around your working hours, work cleanly, and coordinate with building management. [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: after-hours availability]

Proof

Readings before. Readings after.

Every SignalFix job ends with a Bar Certificate: the same reading in the same rooms, taken again and signed.

About the Bar Certificate

Questions

About offices.

We have full bars but calls still drop. Why?
Bars show strength, not quality. In busy offices, interference and load can ruin calls even with strong signal. We measure both.
Do you need the landlord’s approval?
For anything beyond a survey, usually yes. We help you prepare what the landlord needs to see.

Bring the signal home.

Tell us which rooms drop calls. We’ll measure every one, and tell you honestly what will fix it.
