SignalCheck: every room, measured.
We measure signal in every room of your home or building, on your own phones, for every network you use, and map exactly where it drops. Then we tell you honestly what will fix it. Nothing is installed during a SignalCheck.
Guessing is expensive.
Two flats in the same tower can lose signal for different reasons: a glass facade, a lift core, a bedroom at the back. Without readings, any fix is a guess, and people pay for the wrong one.
The SignalCheck replaces the guess with a reading in every room. It tells you which rooms are affected, by how much, on which networks, and what is most likely to fix it, including fixes you can do yourself.
One visit, every room.
You tell us where calls drop
On the form or on WhatsApp: which rooms, which networks, and when it's worst. It shapes what we look at first.
A technician visits, on time
With shoe covers. We walk the home with your phones and ours, room by room, with doors and windows as you normally keep them.
We read every room, on every network
Signal strength and signal quality, in dBm and dB, at the spots you actually use: the bed, the desk, the sofa, the parking bay.
We find the strongest signal outside
On the balcony, terrace or gate. That tells us whether the network reaches your building at all, which decides what's possible.
You get the report and an honest recommendation
Including when the answer is "Wi-Fi calling will do" or "this needs the operator, and here's the evidence for your complaint".
Rooms and calls first. Numbers as proof.
| Reading | What it means in plain words | Typical guidance (LTE) |
|---|---|---|
| Signal strength (RSRP, dBm) | How much signal reaches the phone. Closer to zero is stronger. | −80 or better: excellent · below −100: poor |
| Signal quality (RSRQ, dB) | How clean the signal is. Busy or noisy cells read worse even when strong. | −10 or better: excellent · −20 or worse: poor |
| SINR (dB) | Signal compared with interference and noise. It decides whether calls hold. | 20+: excellent · 0 or below: poor |
| Network and technology | Which operator, and whether the phone is on 5G, 4G or dropping lower. | Per SIM, per room |
| Call test | A real call in the rooms that matter, because that's what you care about. | Holds / drops |
Ranges are typical vendor guidance (Teltonika), not a standard. How to read these on your own phone.
A SignalCheck report.
- A room map with a reading for every room, per network
- Where the signal is strongest outside your building
- What's taking the signal in each weak room, in plain words
- Recommended fixes, cheapest first, including ones you can do yourself
- A written quote if a SignalFix install is the right answer
The same readings become the "before" column of your Bar Certificate if you go ahead. [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: report format (PDF / WhatsApp) and turnaround time]
| Room | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Living | −104 dBm | −69 dBm |
| Bedroom 1 | −111 dBm | −72 dBm |
| Kitchen | −98 dBm | −66 dBm |
| Bedroom 2 | −113 dBm | −74 dBm |
| Balcony | −92 dBm | −63 dBm |
If a fix is needed
You get a quote based on the readings, and the lawful route we'd use. The fix.
If Wi-Fi calling will do
We'll say so, and help set it up. Wi-Fi calling guide.
If it's the operator's job
Your readings become evidence for the complaint. How to complain.
What a SignalCheck costs.
You'll know the SignalCheck fee before we visit. [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: SignalCheck fee, what it covers (rooms / floors), and whether it is adjusted against an install]
About the SignalCheck.
What is a SignalCheck?
A SignalCheck is a visit where we measure mobile signal in every room of your home or building, on your own phones, for each network you use. We note where it drops and why, and give you a written report with an honest recommendation. Nothing is installed during a SignalCheck.
Why do you measure before fixing anything?
Because guessing is how people end up paying for the wrong fix. Two flats in the same tower can lose signal for different reasons: a glass facade, a lift shaft, a bedroom at the back. The readings show which rooms are affected, by how much, and on which networks.
Does it work for Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL?
We measure every network you use, separately, because each one reaches your building differently. What we can improve depends on the signal each network has outside your building and the route used for the fix. The SignalCheck report tells you this per network before you decide anything.
What if you can't fix it?
Then the SignalCheck says so. Sometimes the signal outside your building is too weak for any indoor fix, or the best option is something you can do yourself, like Wi-Fi calling or an operator complaint backed by our readings. We'd rather tell you that than sell you something that won't work.
How long does it take?
A SignalCheck for a typical flat usually fits in one visit. How long the fix takes depends on the building and the route. [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: typical SignalCheck duration and install time]
