Each wall the signal passes through costs it strength. A bedroom two walls deep from the side facing the tower can read far weaker than the front room.
RCC slabs and ground floors
Reinforced concrete roofs and floors are dense. Ground-floor rooms surrounded by neighbouring buildings often get the least.
New neighbours
A building that goes up next door can shadow your house from the tower it used to see clearly. It’s one of the most common reasons signal “suddenly” gets worse.
Different networks, different towers
Your Jio phone and your Airtel phone are talking to different towers, possibly on different sides of the house. One can be fine while the other drops.
