Getting ready for TRAI's connectivity rating.
Since October 2024, TRAI rates properties from one to five stars for digital connectivity, including indoor mobile coverage in basements and lifts. A SignalCheck before the rating shows where your property stands and what to fix first.
What TRAI rates.
TRAI's Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024 came into effect on 25 October 2024. Properties are rated one to five stars by registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs). TRAI approved eight such agencies in August 2025.
According to TRAI's DCRA FAQ, ratings look at indoor connectivity across 2G to 5G and Wi-Fi, including basements and lifts, and at whether the building is ready for in-building systems. Property managers apply for the rating.
Know your stars before the rater does.
See the gaps
Which towers, floors, basements and lifts are weak, on which networks.
Fix the cheap things
Some gaps close with Wi-Fi planning or an operator request, before anything is built.
Plan the rest
A written report you can share with operators and infrastructure providers when you request in-building coverage.
What this is, and isn't.
- A readiness SignalCheck is a survey to help you prepare. It is not a TRAI rating.
- Only TRAI-registered DCRAs can rate a property. [CLIENT INPUT REQUIRED: confirm SignalFix is not a registered DCRA, or state its registration if it becomes one]
- Our readings use the same plain room-by-room format as every SignalCheck.
