Basements and parking: signal below ground.
Basements are where signal problems stop being an inconvenience. Security guards can’t call out, drivers can’t pay by UPI at the exit, and residents can’t be reached. Signal has to pass soil, retaining walls and concrete slabs to get there.
Where the signal goes.
Soil and retaining walls
Below ground level, signal can’t come in sideways. What little arrives comes down ramps and shafts.
Multiple levels
Each additional basement level is another slab. B2 is usually much worse than B1.
Ramps are the only way in
Signal near the ramp entrance can be usable while the far end of the same level reads nothing.
What we measure here.
Every job starts with a reading, room by room. No guesses.
- Every basement level, mapped by zone, per network
- Security cabins, payment points, lift lobbies and exits
- Ramp entrances, to see what reaches below ground
- Routes for cabling that respect fire and structural rules
What usually works.
The readings decide. These are the routes we most often recommend for basements & parking. If the SignalCheck says none of them will help, we'll tell you.
A SignalFix install for the basement
Bringing usable signal to the zones that need it, through a lawful route agreed with the building before work starts.
Operator in-building coverage
For large or multi-level basements, often the right route. Our readings support the request.
Wi-Fi where calls matter most
At security cabins and payment points, Wi-Fi plus Wi-Fi calling can be a practical first step.
We don't sell or install mobile signal boosters. Every install goes through a lawful route agreed in writing before work starts. Why.
Readings before. Readings after.
Every SignalFix job ends with a Bar Certificate: the same reading in the same rooms, taken again and signed.
